“Friends are the family you choose for yourself.”
Most of us have lived this quote out to some degree, but especially during the holidays when community and close-knit connections are paramount. This time of year can be hard for some but over the years, Friendsgiving has stepped in to remind us that family isn’t limited to blood relatives.
In honor of this new tradition, Create & Cultivate joined forces with our good friends at Chandon to bring a few special people together for a night of food, fun, and sparkling wine, of course! The evening was light-hearted and filled with laughs as new friendships were made and old ones were rekindled.
Highlights included plenty of photo ops and a delicious dinner paired with Sparkling Wine served from magnum bottles of Chandon’s newest limited-edition ‘Harvested Under the Stars’ Brut. Chandon harvests under the stars each year because the cool California night protects the quality of the grapes. The acidity and aromatic finesse of the fruit are preserved when gathered in the evening, and Chandon is proud to bring that magic to gatherings all season long! The evening concluded with a spirited game of White Elephant, which was as competitive as it was enjoyable thanks to hot-ticket items like roundtrip Alaska Airline tickets and a case of Chandon étoile Rosé, as well as funny gag gifts like sushi socks and a pink toolbox.
