How We Bring Our Instagram-Worthy C&C Events to Life

Event production is a lot of work. The amount of planning our production team puts in for Create & Cultivate events is truly impressive—and you, our conference community, don’t overlook it! One of our biggest asks at recent events has been, “How do you put all this together?” So today, we’re giving you a glimpse into our process by sharing the Orange Lounge we created at the Miami Vision Summit in partnership with The Home Depot.

In the early stages of planning, we worked with The Home Depot to select furniture, wallpaper, accessories, and plants (including this convincing faux fiddle leaf fig tree!)—then put together a mockup to show how everything fits together.

To create realistic event mockups, we use photos from the actual space and layer cutouts of furniture, decals, and any other design elements on top of it. Here’s what our Orange Lounge mockups looked like…

…and here’s how they were brought to life in Miami! How amazing is that wallpaper? We’re pretty obsessed with how the lounge turned out (and may have kept a couple of those fluffy shag pillows for our office).
