Chrissy Rutherford is a fashion and social media expert with over 12 years of experience in the industry. She recently launched a diversity and inclusion consulting company, 2BG Consulting with fashion veteran, Danielle Prescod. Together they are helping fashion and beauty brands become better allies in the fight against systemic racism. 

Previously, Chrissy worked as the special projects director of HarpersBazaar.com where she spent almost 9 years. Starting out as an assistant editor, her duties ran the gamut from writing, market work, and interviewing celebrities. As she worked her way up, she added styling, TV appearances, and ultimately overseeing the brand’s Instagram account (garnering over 4 million followers), as well as booking talent for features, contributor roles, and video to her list of duties. 

She is now a contributing editor for the title. She’s also held roles at InStyle.com and Cosmopolitan magazine. Outside of fashion, she is an advocate for mental health. Chrissy also loves exploring what’s new in music, culture, and health and wellness.
